📚 Daily Check-In: School Countdown Begins 🎒

Okay, deep breaths, moms. School starts in less than a MONTH for my rising 1st grader… and five weeks for my little preschool tornado. Which means it’s officially Back-to-School Panic Season.

We are somewhere between “enjoy every second of summer” and “please stop licking the windows and let’s practice using scissors like it’s not your first time.”

I’ve made a list of things we need: new lunchboxes (because last year’s smell like regret), uniforms that don’t fit like crop tops, crayons that haven’t been chewed, and the mental stamina to fill out ALL the forms again.

Nugget, our puppy, is already stressed about losing his tiny humans during the day. Honestly? Same, buddy.

Anyway—sending strength and maybe some wine recommendations to all the parents out there who are this close to starting a new school year. May your markers have caps and your school shoes actually be in pairs. 💪🍷✏️
